2 - plan an event

In order to improve the collaboration among people working for your institution and the Wikipedians, why don't you get them to know each other? Create a special initiative, like an event open to the audience and where Wikipedians can be invited. For example, you can plan a visit in “your institution and Wikipedia behind the scenes” or a "Wiki-marathon". Fix a practical and precise aim (like writing or improving some articles) and ask for the collaboration of the local Wikimedia chapter.

Do not wait for someone else to do it: start uploading the contents enriching Wikipedia encyclopaedic articles.
Start building a first short list of lacking articles that can be easily widened with your institution contents.
Do not put your website link everywhere - do not spam! Improve Wikipedia articles content, proofread and widen lacking articles.
