The result of the discussion was Redirect to Wikipedia:WikiProject Fact and Reference Check. --RL0919 (talk) 00:49, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Proposal for a project that started and died in 2006. Aim was "to add a large number of reasonable quality references to Wikipedia as quickly as possible . . .". Had three initial members. A couple of sentences of discussion. No subpages. --Kleinzach 01:36, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

  • Redirect with history intact to Wikipedia:WikiProject Fact and Reference Check as an archive for those who go looking for this old stuff. I don't think that it should be deleted, but agree that it is not a WikiProject. It is an interesting, not unreasonable idea for the good of the project. Gives some historical perspective on what people were thinking back then. The idea of reading important source documents, and combing for citable information, is a good one. I believe it is largely done for some sources, such as Encyclopædia Britannica, 11th_edition. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 08:01, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
