The result of the discussion was: procedural close. This page was redirected in an MfD and is to be considered a redirect. Technically at this time it is not a redirect because the MfD closer who had enacted the result of the MfD then undid that for this this page specifically when challenged on their talk page (because Hillary Clinton was not a U.S. president or vice president). The outcome of the MfD was clearly to redirect all the pages to the target specified in the discussion: That MfD's nomination referred to all of the individuals associated with U.S. presidency as US presidential candidates
(and Hillary Clinton was that) and there weren't significant comments how Clinton should be treated differently. So the remaining question can not be whether the page should be live for us now to have a new MfD for it; the page has the procedural quality of a redirect, and as a redirect it can be taken to RfD, or the redirect can be boldly retargeted (such as to Wikipedia:WikiProject Politics/American politics). This was closed as "redirect" to Wikipedia:WikiProject United States Presidents at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Kamala Harris but Hillary Clinton was never a president or vice-president. C F A 💬 23:16, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

- This should be at RfD not MfD, but don’t worry about that. You can change the redirect without XfD. SmokeyJoe (talk) 01:01, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- I came across this because of WP:TFD#Template:WikiProject Joe Biden. When I nominated it for MfD it wasn't a redirect for some reason (ping ToadetteEdit). C F A 💬 01:11, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
