Wikipedians should follow these set of rules to Contribute to Wikipedia

when editing
DO:
File:Green check.png Find reliable sources and verify information.
File:Green check.png Add your own work.
File:Green check.png Use a neutral point of view.
File:Green check.png Try to fix problems and revert vandalism.
File:Green check.png assume good faith, and demonstrate it as well.
File:Green check.png Assume the assumption of good faith when your edits are reverted.



DON'T:
File:Red x.svg Don't add your own personal research and add hoaxes/rumours
File:Red x.svg Don't add copyrighted material
File:Red x.svg Don't use a biased point of view
File:Red x.svg Don't cause problems and vandalise Wikipedia
File:Red x.svg Don't assume bad faith and attack other editors.
File:Red x.svg Don't assume the assumption of bad faith and start an edit war
