  • It was deleted, but restored because I was told that it was wanted for rewriting. It does not appear to have been touched. :/ I need to find out what's going on with it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:41, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • I've let both contributors who expressed an interest in it know that it's due for deletion again (1, 2; if not handled within a few days, it should be redeleted.
  • The one who took a stab at it does not have time to rewrite. Not that I'm swimming in time these days, but given the interest from at least two parties took a shot at something. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:25, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
  • Actually, you were right the first time. It's compatible. Green check to the right means its okay. :) That chart is derived in large part from [1], which explains which CC licenses are cross-compatible. "By" license can be used in any other CC license, but not PD. If it comes back, we do need to attribute it, though. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:02, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • P.S. This one is just out here for you to see it; feel free to tuck it behind the collapse when you have. :D --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:26, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • I am glad you left it out because I am a bit confused. So, that chart applies to text as well? Maybe it should be marked a little clearer? I was also thinking of adding the OGL 1.0 license to that chart. Unless you try to keep it from being cluttered.--NortyNort (Holla) 03:35, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • Yes, the chart applies to text; actually, it was intended to apply to text only. I created it on my user page for that purpose, and somebody (can't remember at the moment who) moved it over. It was created only with content from CC's list, with the addition of what we knew to be true. It can certainly be expanded, but we should really only focus on what text is importable. I've tried to clear it up; is it easier to follow now? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:52, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • It looks good. What is the difference between CC-BY importable text and OGL importable text?--NortyNort (Holla) 12:43, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
  • This is not by any means definitive because these licenses are not my real area, but a read through the license terms suggests it imposes a restriction we can't accept: "You MUST include a copy of this License with every copy of the Open Game Content You Distribute." We have no provision for doing so or requiring that of our reusers. Probably any more questions about that should go to WT:C, though, as I'm about to close this day. Hooray!) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:25, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
