Not a notable instrument. Does not meet wp:GNG. Seems to have been a real scientific instrument (but has as such no reliable significant coverage); is widely covered in sources that try to prove the veracity of the Shroud of Turin but all these sources are not reliable. A redirect was tried to Fringe theories about the Shroud of Turin by another editor but was reverted. If it was a real intrument, a straight deletion seems better to me anyway. I have not notified the page creator since their talk page shows that isn't wanted. Rolluik (talk) 13:42, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

- Comment If it should be redirected: Fringe theories about the Shroud of Turin#3D Imaging Rolluik (talk) 13:45, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
- Keep: I'm finding multiple sources that reference the VP8 Image Analyzer, including its use with Skylab and NASA planetary imagery during the 1970s and 80s. The subject appears notable, although the article seems too narrowly focused. Praemonitus (talk) 15:42, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
- Keep, per above, used in NASA research. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:08, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
