Michele Frolla is an Australian online educator and content creator. She is the founder of The Intrepid Guide, a travel and language learning platform.[1][2][3]

Career

Frolla launched The Intrepid Guide in 2015, initially as a travel blog focused on language, culture and history. The site later evolved to include language learning resources.[4][5][6]

In 2018, she launched Intrepid Italian, an online platform that provides self-paced courses in Italian. These courses use an approach she calls the 80/20 Method, which applies the Pareto principle to language learning by concentrating on high-frequency vocabulary and grammar. The platform offers structured courses from beginner to upper-intermediate levels, as well as 30-day grammar challenges.[7][8][9]

Frolla's methods and contributions to language education have been featured in media outlets such as The Washington Post,[1] Forbes[10] and Il Globo. She has also been a guest on podcasts including Untold Italy and The Fluent Show.[11][12][13]

In 2021, she received the Vlogger of the Year award at the TravMedia Awards. The following year, she was named Travel Creator of the Year (UK) at the EU Business Awards.[14][15][16]
