Maxim Mrva (born 2 August 2007) is a Czech professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 346 achieved on 22 December 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 932 achieved on 19 May 2025.

Mrva won the boys' doubles title at the 2024 US Open with Rei Sakamoto, and reached an ITF junior combined ranking of No. 2 on 6 January 2025.

Early life

Mrva was born in Prostějov.[1] He began playing tennis at the age of five, introduced to the sport by his older brother.[2] He also played football in his youth with compatriot Jan Kumstát.[3] He represents TK Agrofert Prostějov.[4]

Junior career

In September 2021, he won the Petits As, defeating Federico Cinà in the final.[5] In October 2022, he won the J1 Torneo Internacional Junior in Sanxenxo.[6] In January 2023, he made his Junior Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open, where he reached the second round in singles.[7][8] That year, he represented the Czech Republic at the Junior Davis Cup, where he won the title with Jan Kumstát and Martin Doskočil.[9]

In April 2024, he won the J500 tournament in Offenbach.[10] Later that year, he and Rei Sakamoto won the boys' doubles title at the 2024 US Open.[11] He also reached the final of the J300 IMG Academy International Championships in Bradenton, but lost to Andrés Santamarta Roig.[12]

Professional career

In September 2024, he won his first professional singles title at the $15k Pardubice Open, defeating Miloš Karol in the final.[13] In January 2025, he received an invitation to represent the Czech Republic at the Davis Cup.[9] On his debut in the first round of qualifiers, he defeated Shin San-hui of South Korea.[14] That March, he made his ATP Challenger Tour main draw debut at the Open Città della Disfida, where he reached the semifinals with wins over Ergi Kırkın, Mili Poljičak, and Matej Dodig.[15][16][17]
