Madevan (Persian: مادوان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Fasarud Rural District[4] of Fasarud District, Darab County, Fars province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit | edit source]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,724 in 427 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,694 people in 469 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,488 people in 467 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Fasarud District.[7]
