Lyn Bennett is an American politician. A Republican, she was elected in the 2024 Montana House of Representatives election to represent the 4th district and is set to take office on January 6, 2025.[1] In the general election, she was elected above Democratic nomination Lindsey Jordan.[2] Prior to her election in 2024, Bennett sought membership in the house for the 6th district in the 2022 Montana House of Representatives election, though was defeated by incumbent Democrat Dave Fern.[3]

Bennett has declared opposition to property taxation, support for the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, and considers herself a conservative Republican.[4]

Bennett earned a bachelor's degree in nursing, and outside of politics worked as a nurse for 20 years.[5] She serves as the director of Glacier County Pachyderm, which supports Republican candidates.[6][7]
