Leon Root

Leon Root (June 15, 1929 – September 21, 2015) was the former Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Hospital for Special Surgery.[1] He was President of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine in 1988. Dr. Root wrote the popular "No More Aching Back" in 1992.[2] He died at the age of 86 in September 2015.[3]
