Kruti Dev (Devanagari: कृतिदेव)[citation needed] is a Devanagari non-Unicode clip font typeface. In northern India, many public service commissions conduct typing exams using the Kruti Dev typeface.[2][unreliable source?] It was released nearly in 1997 and designed by Kruti Dev Ram.[3]

DevLys to unicode converters are widely used for converting text between these two formats, particularly in regions and industries where DevLys is a standard font for Hindi typing.[citation needed]
