Nursing

[edit | edit source]

Kent State Ashtabula is known locally for its nursing program, which accounts for nearly 75 percent of registered nurses in Ashtabula County.[3]

Kent State University at Ashtabula established a wine program in the fall of 2011, offering two-year associate degrees in viticulture and oenology.[4][5] In November 2017, the university partnered with a local vineyard to purvey its wine.[6][7] As of February 2019, these wine degree programs are the sole ones of their type available in the entire state of Ohio.[7]
