Keith Alvin Saint Hope Gardner (6 September 1929 – 25 May 2012) was a Jamaican athlete who competed in the 110 metre hurdles, 100 metres, 200 metres, and 400 metres, who competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Biography

In 1954, Gardner won a gold medal for Jamaica at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, Canada over the 120 yard hurdles.

Gardner won the British AAA Championships title in the 120 yards hurdles event at the 1958 AAA Championships.[1][2][3] Shortly afterwards he represented the Jamaican team at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, Wales, where he four medals, including two golds.[4]

Gardner competed for the British West Indies in the 1960 Olympic Games held in Rome, Italy in the 4 x 400 metre relay, where he won the bronze medal with his teammates Malcolm Spence, James Wedderburn, and George Kerr.[4]
