Kamal Anwar Chaudhry is a senior officer in the Pakistan Army who currently serves as the Director General of Military Training at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. He is also the Director General of the Pakistan Army Corps of Education, overseeing military education and training programs.[1][2]
Military career
[edit | edit source]Chaudhry was commissioned in the 10th Baloch Regiment through 88 PMA Long Course. He had won the Sword of Honour for his performance at the Pakistan Military Academy.[3]
He was promoted from Brigadier to the rank of Major General in 2021.[4][5] As a major general, he served as Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan (South).[6][7]
In 2023, he was appointed as the Director General of Military Training, responsible for overseeing the training programs and policies within the Pakistan Army. In 2025, he was awarded with Hilal-e-Imtiaz for his meritorious service in the army.[8][9]
