Joanna Leigh Briskey is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Australian Parliament for the Division of Maribyrnong after winning the seat in the 2025 Australian federal election.[1]

She ran in the 2012 Queensland state election as Labor's candidate in Cleveland, previously held by her father Darryl Briskey.[2] She is a member of the Labor Left.[3]

Before entering Parliament she was a national coordinator with the United Workers Union.[4]

Briskey serves on the House of Representatives Standing Committee: Regional Development, Infrastructure and Transport. As well as on the Joint Standing Committees: Trade and Investment Growth, and Treaties.[5]

She is a member of the United Workers Union, Electrical Trades Union, Australian Manufacturing Workers Union, and the Community and Public Sector Union.[5]
