James Morris Grantham (October 9, 1919 – January 15, 1996)[1] was an American college football coach. He was the head football coach for Troy State Teachers College—now known as Troy University—from 1951 to 1954.[2][3] He was the head football coach for Aliceville High School in 1947,[4] Rutherford High School from 1955 to 1957,[5] Hasbrouck Heights High School from 1958 to 1959,[6][7] and Hicksville High School.[8] He also coached for Peekskill Military Academy.[8] He played college football for Alabama as a split end and defensive end.[9]
