Innathe Chinthavishayam (transl. Thought for the day) is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film written and directed by Satyan Anthikad. The film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas, stars Mohanlal, Meera Jasmine, Sukanya, Mohini, Innocent and Muthumani. The film's score and songs were composed by Ilayaraja. The film is based on the scenario of increased divorces in modern-day Kerala middle class society. The film was released on 12 April 2008.[1][2]

Dr. Muralikrishnan, a successful city dentist, leads a double life as a womanizer and conceals his affairs from his wife, Treesa, by labeling female contacts under male names in his phone. When Treesa discovers the deception and confronts Murali, he leaves both her and their daughter, Lakshmi. Treesa then becomes a driving instructor to support herself. Meanwhile, Treesa punishes Ranjan Philip, a womanizer who continuously follows and disturbs her by stripping naked in a street, taking away his dress and keeping it in his car. Peethambaran and his wife Premila with their lovely children Malavika and Madhavan are leading a good life. But due to the increased possessiveness of Premila, Peethambaran returns home from the Gulf, throwing away his good job and starts escorting his wife all along. He even develops inferiority complex which further complicates things for Premila, ultimately resulting in continuous fights and separation. Rehna is not able to continue with her lawyer profession due to the orthodox attitude of her husband Noushad and his family. She walks out of his life and starts working independently.

Into the lives of these three ladies who started living their lives separately, arrives Gopakumar alias GK, a garment exporter. He has brought the house where Treesa is staying. Now, left in a difficult situation which does not allow GK to throw out Treesa and her daughter and to establish his office, GK is trying some new ways to get the couple together. And in the process, he meets the ladies from the second and third family, who happens to be friends of Treesa. He decides to help them too. The film follows how GK, with his fashion designer Kamala and the land broker Immanuel, succeeds in getting the feuding couples back to lives of reunion.
