Indecisive is an American punk rock band from Arvada, Colorado. Formed in 2018 by brothers Milo DeMars (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Ian DeMars (drums), the band became known for its energetic live performances and DIY approach.
History
[edit | edit source]Formation and Early Years (2018–2022)
[edit | edit source]Indecisive was founded in 2018 by brothers Milo and Ian DeMars, initially performing as a duo. In 2020, they expanded their lineup with the addition of guitarist Felix Esteves and bassist Guinevere. They became active in the Denver punk scene, playing at local venues such as 7th Circle Music Collective[1] and Globe Hall.[2]
Debut Album and Lineup Change (2023)
[edit | edit source]In 2023, Guinevere left the band and was replaced by Diego Garcia. Later that year, Indecisive recorded their debut album, When in Doubt, Whip It Out,[3] at Green Door Recordings.[4] The album was released on December 8, 2023, followed by a release concert at Lost Lake, Denver.[5]
Touring and Industry Recognition (2024–present)
[edit | edit source]Following their album release, Indecisive embarked on their first tour in May 2024, covering the Midwestern United States with performances in South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.[6] In July and August 2024, they toured California.
In 2024, Indecisive performed at The Marquis Theater, Denver, opening for The Potato Pirates,[7] further establishing themselves in the regional punk scene. They also opened for Me First And the Gimmie Gimmies at The Summit Music Hall, Denver.[8]
