Giovanni Crosetto (born 12 August 1990) is an Italian politician who has served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since 2024.[1] A member of Brothers of Italy (FdI), he sits with the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR).
Early life and career
[edit | edit source]Crosetto was born in Savigliano in 1990, and studied economics at the University of Turin.[2] He is the nephew of Guido Crosetto, and began his political career after his uncle co-founded Brothers of Italy in 2012.[3] In the 2021 Turin municipal election he was elected to the Turin City Council, where he served as group leader of Brothers of Italy.[3]
