The Forteau Formation is a geologic formation in Newfoundland and Labrador. It preserves fossils dating back to the Cambrian period.
Age
[edit | edit source]A Dyerian trilobite fauna places it predominantly in the Bonnia‒Olenellus trilobite zone[1]
Fauna
[edit | edit source]Among its fauna are small carbonaceous fossils[2] and brachiopods [3] and trilobites [1]
