Edati is a Local Government Area in Niger State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Enagi in the west of the area on the A124 highway at Lua error: callParserFunction: function "#coordinates" was not found.. The LGA consists of two areas, separated by the Kaduna River. It has an area of 1,752 km2 and a population of 160,321 at the 2006 census.

Climate condition

Edati has a tropical savanna climate with a clear wet season from about May to September and a long dry season dominated by Harmattan winds. Temperatures remain warm to hot throughout the year, generally ranging from the mid-20s to low-30s °C during the day, with cooler nights in the dry months. Rainfall is concentrated in the monsoon period, shaping the savanna vegetation and seasonal river patterns across the area.[2]
