The Drook Formation is a geologic formation in Newfoundland and Labrador. It preserves fossils dating back to the Ediacaran period. It contains a stratum dated to 575.8 ± 0.5 million years ago.[2]
Paleobiota
[edit | edit source]Like the other overlying and underlying formations, the Drook Formation represents a rare deep-marine paleoenviroment,[4] and preserves a few fossils, like the large Trepassia.[5]
