The Catalyst Magazine is a student-run digital magazine based in Washington, D.C. that covers topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It was founded in October 2024 by students from George Washington University.
History

The Catalyst Magazine was co-founded by Yair Ben-Dor, a biology student, and Aidan Schurr, a biomedical engineering student at George Washington University.[2] The publication's stated goal is to provide a platform for students and emerging professionals to report on developments in STEM and to make scientific concepts accessible to a broader audience.[3]
Content and Coverage

According to its website, its content is organized around topics such as environmental science, sustainable engineering, genetics, and neuroscience.[1] It has featured interviews with researchers from institutions in the Washington, D.C. area, including Georgetown University and George Washington University.[2]
