See WP:WTW and WP:Refrain from employing an interminable vernacular (the latter of which I wrote myself) as a bit of a guide. Plexus (company)
[edit | edit source]Plexus is a private Australian legal technology company based in Melbourne, Victoria. It develops cloud-based software used by in-house legal departments.
History
[edit | edit source]Plexus was founded in 2011 by Andrew Mellett in Melbourne.[1]
In May 2019, the company raised A$4.65 million in a Series A funding round led by KPMG, with participation from the founders of Aconex.[2][3]
In November 2022, Plexus sold its legal staffing division, known as Plexus Engage, to global legal services provider Axiom. The transaction was described as a move to enable Plexus to focus on the expansion of its software business.[4]
In 2024 and 2025, Plexus secured approximately US$6 million in growth funding to support the international expansion of its platform and to develop new artificial intelligence capabilities.[5][6]
Products
[edit | edit source]Plexus develops legal software that includes tools for contract management, matter management, and regulatory compliance.[7]
Partnerships
[edit | edit source]KPMG Law has used Plexus technology in the delivery of digital legal services.[8]
Leadership
