Mirko Ocokoljić (Serbian Cyrillic: Мирко Оцокољић; born 22 September 1974) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He is currently an interim head coach for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the the Serbian League (KLS), the ABA League and the EuroLeague.
Early life and education
[edit | edit source]Ocokoljić completed his secondary education at IV Belgrade High School in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated from the Basketball Academy Belgrade with the title of Senior Basketball Coach. He holds the highest-level national coaching licence in Serbia (Red Licence), the international FIBA WABC licence, and a French coaching licence (Educateur sportif Carte Professionnelle).[1]
Playing career
[edit | edit source]Before becoming a coach, Ocokoljić played basketball at the professional level in Serbia.[2]
Coaching career
[edit | edit source]BC Azovmash (2011–2014)
[edit | edit source]Ocokoljić worked as assistant coach and head of scouting at BC Azovmash Mariupol in the Ukrainian SuperLeague, EuroCup, and VTB League.[3]
AS Monaco Basket (2015–2018, 2020–2025)
[edit | edit source]He served as assistant coach at AS Monaco Basket. During his tenure, Monaco won the EuroCup and French Pro A title, and reached the EuroLeague Final Four.[4]
ASVEL Villeurbanne (2018–2020)
[edit | edit source]Ocokoljić served as assistant coach at ASVEL Villeurbanne, where the team won the French Pro A Championship in 2018–19.[5]
KK Partizan Mozzart Bet (2025–present)
[edit | edit source]He joined KK Partizan as assistant coach in summer 2025 and was promoted to interim head coach in November 2025 following the resignation of Željko Obradović.[6] He led the team in EuroLeague and ABA League matches, including a 14th-round EuroLeague game against FC Bayern Munich.[7] After a victory over U-BT Cluj-Napoca, he stated that he does not know how long he will remain head coach.[8]
National teams
[edit | edit source]- Serbia U20 – assistant coach at the 2011 European Championship in Bilbao.[9]
- Montenegro Universiade Team – assistant coach at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju.[10]
