Martini Animashaun (born 11 July 1980) is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and recording artist. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Tinimash Entertainment, Osumare TV, and the Tinimash Arts & Film Academy. Animashaun is known for producing and featuring in independent Yoruba-language films such as Fate (2021), Coker Close (2022), and Odaju Omo (2024). He also created and managed the reality show Keeping Up With Toyin Aimakhu (KUWTA), starring actress Toyin Abraham.[1]

Career

Animashaun began his creative career in stage theatre before expanding into film production and digital media.[2] He later founded Tinimash Entertainment, producing a range of Yoruba-language and cross-cultural films distributed through Osumare TV. Through his company and the Tinimash Arts & Film Academy, he mentors emerging filmmakers and promotes youth development in Nigeria’s creative sector.[3]

In 2024, he was profiled in Punch Nigeria for the series Before Stardom With..., where he discussed his transition from digital marketing to filmmaking and the challenges of independent production.[4] He has also released several Afrobeats singles under the name Tinimash and continues to combine filmmaking and music within his creative projects.[5]

Personal life

Animashaun divides his time between Lagos and Ibadan.[6] He remains active in community mentorship and cultural advocacy, promoting Yoruba-language cinema and supporting creative youth programs across southwestern Nigeria.
