Dr. Jason Chen- Hong Kong music education scholar and composer. He is currently an Assistant professor at The Education University of Hong Kong.[1]
As a scholar, Chen specializes in music technology, jazz and popular music, mobile Learning and motivation. He had published more than over 20 academic publications and more than 400 times of citation cited by other scholar.[2] On the other hand, as a composer, Chen composed over 40 music compositions included instrumental music, commercial jingles, popular music and jazz arrangements. His instrumental music "Global Warning" for 12 acoustic guitar has been selected by the Hong Kong Composers' Guild to represent the Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) at the 62nd International Rostrum of Composers (IRC) in 2015. [3]
