Hamid Heshmati-Khah (Persian: حمید حشمتیخواه) is an Iranian taekwondo practitioner who competed internationally in the late 1970s. He is best known for winning a 
Silver at the 1978 Asian Taekwondo Championships in Hong Kong, representing Iran in the men's –80 kg division.[1]
Taekwondo career
[edit | edit source]Heshmati-Khah was part of the early generation of Iranian taekwondo athletes competing in continental championships. His 1978 performance at the Asian Taekwondo Championships remains the only internationally recorded result for him in publicly available taekwondo databases.[1]
Iranian Persian-language archives mentioning Iran’s early taekwondo history also list Heshmati-Khah among the country’s medalists at the 1978 Asian Championships.[2]

Legacy
