In February 2025, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran announced that it had greenlit three "younger-skewed" animated series—DC Super Powers, My Adventures with Green Lantern, and Starfire!—that were being co-produced with Warner Bros. Animation and executive producer Sam Register. The former was based on the DC Comics toyline the Super Powers Collection and its tie-in comic books. Matt Beans was set to executive produce the series while Michael Chang was the supervising producer.[1]
