Corey Ryan Forrester is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster known for his Southern comedic style and political commentary. He performs as part of the "wellRED" comedy trio with Trae Crowder and Drew Morgan and has been featured in national media outlets including Variety, Yahoo! News, CNN, and MTV.

The trio has toured widely across the United States, presenting comedy that blends Southern cultural themes with progressive political humor. Regional press described their shows as a "completely unique—and increasingly popular—brand of southern comedy" and "artistically and politically groundbreaking."[1]
In 2023, Variety profiled Crowder and Forrester, highlighting their book Round Here and Over Yonder, their world tour, and their rise from online comedic content to touring comics.[2]
Media coverage
[edit | edit source]In June 2019, Forrester received national attention after offering to officiate same-sex weddings in his yard at no cost, following reports that a Georgia venue would not host same-sex ceremonies. The story was covered by Yahoo! News and CNN.[3]
In May 2021, Forrester appeared at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, where he was photographed on the red carpet and spoke onstage during the broadcast.[4][5]
