Conor Jacob Smith (born 9 December 2002)[1] is an Australian singer-songwriter, known for being one of the vocalist's in the band Midnight 'Til Morning.[2]
Smith began his career on multiple competition shows, before finally landing a deal with Chugg Music. Midnight 'Til Morning has released one studio EP[3], and two tours around it.[4][5]
Early Life
[edit | edit source]Conor Jacob Smith was born on 9 December 2002 in Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia. He is one of four siblings.[6]
In 2018, Smith began uploading cover videos to Youtube, surpassing 40,000 subscribers and 41 million views. He covered a wide range of artists including Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.
Career
[edit | edit source]In 2019, Smith auditioned for The Voice Australia.[6] He chose Team Guy, and made it to the knockout round before getting eliminated. In 2024, he auditioned for Australian Idol[6], but was not given a golden ticket to move forward. He would join Midnight 'Til Morning after a time on the Netflix show Building the Band in 2025. While the band only got 4th place on the show, they remained together and have since released an EP and gone on a world tour. [3][4]
Personal Life
[edit | edit source]Smith is a known skater, frequently bringing his board along with him.[6] Prior to joining Midnight 'Til Morning in 2022, he was working at a skate shop, and gave instructions for others.[7]
Smith enjoys reading and writing poetry, dubbing Cody Simpson's "Prince Neptune" his favorite.[7]
