Logan J. Gray is a rapper from Newberg, Oregon. He started making monumental music on April 20th, 2024 under the name "$hine", releasing his first EPs on Spotify, Apple Music & more. [1] His close friends Z Balla and Lil Lemon shortly joined him after, creating the group $hine's Recovery Records, this name would be changed to Trap Gang in May after KTN & Trap Jonas joined the group. $hine started his career making diss tracks on a fellow classmate Tyson Cook, with the diss tracks spreading across Newberg High School. During the summer, they would go on to fight and after this altercation, both sides seemed to step down from the beef. In October 2024, $hine and Tyson stopped all beef with each other and ended up collaborating on $hine's 6th album Heavily Dedicated. [2] After the release of Heavily Dedicated, Sir Thomas and Tjizzle (Tyson Cook) would officially join Trap Gang. Getting ready for his December release "$hinin' in the Dark"[3], Sir Thomas $hine Tjizzle and KTN would team up for the first and last time to make "Trap Trumpet".[4] $hine's biggest hit to date, after this song was released, the music finally started to gain recognition and going into 2025, $hine and all of Trap Gang continued to work together, releasing "Trap Gang Tape"[5] in October 2025, a collaborative album between all of the members, introducing new ones as well.
