Derazan (Persian: درازان)[a] is a village in Dasht-e Sar-e Sofla Rural District of the Central District of Amol County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit | edit source]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,211 in 338 households, when it was in Bala Khiyaban-e Litkuh Rural District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,423 people in 434 households,[5] by which time Derazan had been transferred to Dasht-e Sar-e Sofla Rural District created in the district.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,472 people in 501 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
