Daejon Patman, known professionally as DaeMoney (sometimes WTM DaeMoney), is an American rapper.[1] He is a member of the hip hop collective Wrld Tour Mafia.
Early life
[edit | edit source]WTM DaeMoney hails from Detroit, Michigan.[1]
Career
[edit | edit source]WTM DaeMoney began gaining attention in the Detroit rap scene around 2018. He is known for dropping pop culture references into his music.[1]
On March 4, 2020, Young Sexual Misconduct, a mixtape by Detroit rapper WTM DaeMoney, was released under EMPIRE.[2][3]
2022–2023: Slayer's Coming and Slae Season 3
[edit | edit source]On July 15, 2022, Slayer's Coming, a 7-track EP by Detroit rapper WTM DaeMoney, was released under EMPIRE.[4] The project features Trees as a collaborator.[5]
On February 10, 2023, DaeMoney released Slae Season 3, a 13-track album under Empire Distribution.[6] HipHopDX's Jude Noel praised DaeMoney's slow delivery, introspective tone and the album's "murkier aesthetic".[7] Legends Will Never Die gave the album a score of 4 out of 5.[8]
2024–present: Rockstar Lifestyle 2 and The Godson
[edit | edit source]On March 1, 2024, Rockstar Lifestyle 2 was released as a 13-track mixtape including guest appearances from Babyface Ray, BabyTron, Joony, and KARRAHBOOO.[9][10][11]
On October 25, 2024, still with EMPIRE, DaeMoney released The Godson.[9] The 15-track project features collaborations with BabyTron, Peezy, and GRS Rally.[12]
