Category:Russian communists

Note the difference between the categories Russian communist and Soviet politician. The latter is someone who was active as a politician in the Soviet Union. The category Russian communists includes ethnic Russians and natives of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (1917–1991) who were active communists in the Soviet Union, but also people who were communists in the Russian Empire before the 1917 revolution, or are active in the Russian Federation after the Dissolution of the Soviet Union (1991).
