This category is for wives of sovereign princes(ses) who are reigning monarchs. The title may be also used for the wife of a king or queen regnant if the more usual designation of queen consort is not used; see Category:Queens consort. Note that all other Category:Princesses by marriage are not the wives of sovereign princes(ses) or kings/queens regnant, but instead of (crown) princes(ses) who are not (currently) reigning.
