Burkarty [burˈkartɨ] (German: Borchertsdorf)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) west of Bartoszyce and 49 km (30 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn.
