Bogum Magic Curl (Korean: 보검매직컬; RR: bogeommaejikkeol) is an upcoming South Korean entertainment program starring Park Bo-gum working as a barber in the countryside together with actors Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon. It will air on TvN in the first half of 2026.

Actor Park Bo-gum, who is also a licensed barber, opens a hair salon in a remote village in South Korea together with his friends Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon creating bonds and memories with the villagers

On September 16, 2025, YTN reported that TvN is producing an entertainment program starring Park Bo-gum.[4] The network officially confirmed the news the same day.[5] The show involves utilizing Park as a licensed barber in the countryside. Park earned his National Technical Qualifications Certification as a barber during his compulsory military service in 2022.[6]

Casting

In October 2025, actor Lee Sang-yi, who co-starred with Park Bo-gum in the action-comedy Good Boy (2025), joined the cast.[7] The following month, in November 2025, Park's Love in the Moonlight (2016) and Young Actors' Retreat (2022) co-star Kwak Dong-yeon also joined the cast.[8]

Filming

Park, Lee, and Kwak, who maintain a close friendship in real-life,[9] have been involved in the location-scouting, remodeling, and interior design of the barber shop for more than a year.[10]

Release

Per CJ ENM,[11] Bogum Magic Curl will premiere on TvN in 2026.[12]
