Ayno Maina (Pashto: عینو مینه, also Aino Maina) is a planned town located in the northeast side of Kandahar in Afghanistan.

Description

Ayno Maina is a major housing development based in Kandahar, Afghanistan. It is the largest known construction project in the country. It was started in 2003. The construction framework and design credits go to AFCO International. This two million m2 community scheme, which won both the Residential Project and Sustainable Project of the Year at the Middle East Architect Awards.[1]

Aino Mina is to host an estimated 250,000 people.[2]
