Aryob (Pashto: اریوب) or Aryub is the main town of Zazi District in the Paktia Province of Afghanistan where the Zazi tribe of Pakhtuns live.[1] The terms Arya, Aryo, and Ariya have origins in Sanskrit and Indo-Aryan culture. These terms have been used historically to describe cultural and linguistic groups associated with the Vedic tradition.
