Ahangar Kola (Persian: آهنگركلا, also Romanized as Āhangar Kolā and Āhangar Kalā)[3] is a village in Kelarestaq-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Chalus County, Mazandaran Province, Iran.
Geography
[edit | edit source]Ahangar Kola is in a plain area between the northern slopes of the central Alborz mountains in south and the Caspian sea in north. Namak Abrud forest park and Road 22 are located between the village and the Caspian sea. Settlements near Ahangar Kola include Namakab Rud town and Daryanavardan township in east. Khoshamian township of Abbasabad County in west. Yalbandan village in southwest and Mianki village in southeast.[1]
Demographics
[edit | edit source]People of Ahangar Kola speak the Chalusi dialect of Mazanderani language and are employed farming, gardening, tourism and animal husbandry. Agricultural products include rice, Kiwifruit, citrus fruits, vegetable crops and Animal product.[2]
Population
[edit | edit source]At the 2006 census, its population was 638, in 176 households.[4] Increased to 640 people and 220 households in 2016.[5]
