Aegomorphus is a large genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae.

Taxonomy

[edit | edit source]

Most of the species presently in Aegomorphus were originally placed in the genus Acanthoderes, or (more recently) under the invalid name Psapharochrus, which was a subgenus of Acanthoderes for much of its history, and later elevated to genus rank before it was determined (in 2020) to be a junior synonym of Aegomorphus.[1][2][3]
