The 2016 Asian Tour was the 22nd season of the modern Asian Tour (formerly the Asian PGA Tour), the main professional golf tour in Asia (outside of Japan) since it was established in 1995.
European Tour strategic alliance
[edit | edit source]In July, it was announced that the European Tour had entered into a strategic alliance with the Asian Tour.[1]

Order of Merit
[edit | edit source]The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated in U.S. dollars.[4][5]
