The 1982 Blue Swords Cup (Pokal der Blauen Schwerter) international figure skating championship was held in Karl-Marx-Stadt, East Germany. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles and pair skating.

On 25 November, Birgit Lorenz and Knut Schubert of East Germany won the cup in pair skating.^[1]
