1977 Colgate Brazil Open

The 1977 Colgate Brazil Open was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts in São Paulo, Brazil. It was part of the 1977 WTA Tour (Colgate Series) and was held from 17 to 23 October 1977. This was the inaugural edition of the tournament.[1][2]
American player Billie Jean King was the singles draw champion[3] and the Australian duo of [[Kerry Melville
|Kerry Reid]] and Wendy Turnbull wore the doubles draw champions.[1][2]
