Request on 00:04:25, 27 January 2017 for assistance on AfC submission by Giacomo44

[edit source]

The editor (NikolaiHo) who rejected an entry I submitted about an author has not replied to two detailed messages I have left on his "talk" page. His rejection was based on the "notable" criterion, which I dispute and can provide ample verifiable evidence to support a "notable" claim. If the editor does not reply in a timely manner, I want another editor or a third opinion. Giacomo44 (talk) 00:04, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

User:Giacomo44 - First, the draft was declined primarily for tone reasons rather than for notability reasons. I have reviewed the draft and I agree that it is written non-neutrally, apparently to praise its subject rather than to describe him neutrally. Second, however, as to notability, you have only provided one reference. It is usually a good idea to provide at least two references in order to establish general notability. Third, it appears that the editor who declined your draft edits irregularly. I also see that you expressed hostility toward the reviewer for their failure to respond to you. We are all volunteers, and expressing hostility toward another volunteer editor is not a useful way to get your draft approved. I would suggest that finding more references and changing the tone would be a more productive approach. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:37, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Please remove the following from my page--it has been reviewed by a number of people, and it has been over a year since it was published. If it requires further review, would you please do so or tell me how this should be accomplished:

This page is a new unreviewed article. This template should be removed once the page has been reviewed by someone other than its creator; if necessary the page should be appropriately tagged for cleanup. (January 2016)

Thank you.

Terry Braunstein

The page in question appears to be Terry Braunstein (artist). I see that the page has been tagged for a long time. However, please read the conflict of interest guideline. It isn't "your page"; it is a page about you. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:33, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
