The Composer of the Month for July is Félicien David

His biography needs expansion and better referencing. See also his considerably longer article on French Wikipedia

We need an article on his opera Lalla-Roukh, an opéra comique in two acts. It premiered on 12 May 1862 at the Salle Favart in Paris. (It will be performed by Opera Lafayette in Washington DC in the 2012-2013 season).
