— The Opera of the Month focuses on improving existing opera articles and the coverage of related subjects. —
The Operas of the Month for June are Rossini's La scala di seta and Demetrio e Polibio. This year marks the 200th anniversary of their premieres.
- La scala di seta needs a performance history and improved referencing. The Teatro San Moisè, where it premiered, would benefit from further illustrations and inline citations.
- Demetrio e Polibio needs a performance history and improved referencing. The leading roles were taken by members of the distinguished Mombelli family of singers, Maria Ester Mombelli, Marianna Mombelli, and Domenico Mombelli, all of whom lack articles. Vincenzina Viganò-Mombelli, Domenico's wife, wrote the libretto.
