Usage
[edit source]This template does not take parameters. If it's broken, just remove it from the wiki article and maybe notify its author.
Goal
[edit source]Showing the Opencast-release cycle over time. Data is obtained from WikiData, and updated on Wikidata by a bot. A template for Vega5 is already prepared.
Readers can see:
- how frequently minor versions for major versions are being released (and compare that to the claims in text)
- for how long major releases are being supplied with (security) updates
- which one the major version is and whether it's the first (potentially bugged) minor version of that branch
- overlapping support time spans for major releases
